About me
I didn't have the best start in life and left home at sixteen. It took me years to find myself and I failed a lot before I start to turn my life around in my early twenties. For my 30 plus years in business, I've held onto one thing as my mantra.... "You may not like me, (but I hope you do), you may not want me as a friend but I won't leave you in a mess. What I say I will do, I WILL do.....
And that mantra hasn't changed as a coach..... In helping you find a solution for life's challenges, I will not let you fail, you will succeed"!!
My style is passionate, direct, challenging, uncompromising but also empathetic and reflective. I believe that my ethics, morals, honesty and my faith should be the cornerstone of everything I do! My style may not be everyone's cup of tea but I believe in being honest and direct to help you to be the best you can be.

It seems that many of us are searching and trying to make sense of an an increasingly volatile, confusing and uncertain world. Being a Transformative Coach has enabled me to help and assist others to see and fulfil their potential and to assist them to reach their goals.
SO WHY ASPIRE?
As the name suggests, I started Aspire in order to help you be the person you want to be. I want you to be fulfilled, have clarity in life and enable you to succeed in your goals and the ambitions that drive you.
I have nearly 40 years of sales experience, mostly in the construction industry. For 20 of those years I was in Senior Management or at Director level working for several large national and international lighting companies. I have accumulated vast experience in sales, management and as a Director, the challenges to business at C Suite level. However, one of my most rewarding career highlights has been designing and delivering Professional Development programmes nationally and guiding countless people in Well Being and professional development.
Along side my Corporate roles, I have also been a Residential Social Worker for young people, a Personal Trainer, Gym Manager, started several small businesses and worked as a Christian Minister and undertaken outreach programmes to the homeless and young offenders. In addition I studied for over 4 years with the Open University studying Psychology and Sociology including a year specialising in Criminology.
I have also experienced redundancy which was a difficult and stressful crossroads that I had to navigate which at the time made me take stock and re-evaluate my own life.
It is these skills that has enabled me to regularly undertake coaching and mentoring of people in both work and in life generally and made me realise that giving back and empowering others is the most important thing I've learned in my professional career and personal life!
This is my motivation for Aspire. A desire to reach out, to help others to discover, define and achieve their goals and aspirations in their workplace and personal lives.
